His Technique

The principal technique used by Dr. Blanchard is Chiropractic Biophysics. This method of correction involves a thorough analysis of spinal structure and posture. Posture is a key aspect of the overall health and longevity of the spine. Posture (and the resulting shape of the spine) can have a major effect on the health and function of the spine.

These factors can alter the amount of pressure on the discs (the cushions and spacers between the vertebrae), can influence flexibility, can affect the attached muscles, and can influence the amount of deterioration that occurs in the spine. T

The structure of the spine is a key factor in determining its function; and since the vertebral column surrounds and protects the spinal cord and nerves, can have a direct influence on how the nervous system functions.

Since the nervous system controls most of the functions in the body, posture can have a great influence on overall health. The main goal of Chiropractic Biophysics is to improve the structure of the spine and improve the function of the spine and nervous system.
